This project is a visual representation of the struggles of living with a mental health disorder.
An insight into my own personal space, where I feel most vulnerable.
Photographed are objects and places that significantly effected my mental wellbeing. There are many days where a person suffering with a mental health disorder feel they cannot face the world and struggle to leave their homes, these images are taken on such a day.
The setting of this temporary home is very important and is a major factor in my depression as I was left with no option but to be relocated after being severely affected by Storm Desmond that devastated the North of England and beyond.
Whist enduring spells of endured depression I became more aware of the fact my temporary home was its major cause but I couldn’t seem to bring myself to escape its clutch and face the world.
